The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative source of the Christian faith and
practice. The Bible is a supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary
to reason. II Timothy 3:16-17
The Nature of God
We believe in one God, manifested in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:1-3
The Sinfulness of Man
We believe that man was created in by God, but as a result of sin is lost and powerless to save himself.
Genesis 2:7; Romans 3:23
Repentance and Redemption
We believe all sin must be confessed to be forgiven and that repentance is commanded of God and necessary for forgiveness of sin.
Psalm 32:3-5; Ephesians 1:7; 2 Peter 3:9
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary.
That Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right
Hand of God, the Father, interceding for the saints.
Matthew 1:18-23, 17:9; Luke 23 & 24; Hebrews 7:25-27, 12:2
We believe that one is saved through faith by confessing with the mouth and believing in the heart that in
Jesus Christ become Man, lived, died, and resurrection. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith
alone. No amount of good works will produce justification before God.
Romans 10:9-10, 13; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9
Baptism and Spiritual Gifts
We believe in Water baptism by immersion and Holy Spirit Baptism for empowerment and gifting for
Christian service. An evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit
gives the utterance. The Holy Spirit also enables believers to live a Christ-like life exhibiting Godly character.
Acts 2:38; Acts 2:4, 8:17, 19:6; Galatians 5:22-23; I Corinthians 12:8-10
We believe in Divine Healing but do not discredit healing by medical assistance. We believe the gift of healing
and miracles are still in operation where the Holy Spirit rules.
Matthew 10:8; Acts 5:16; 19:12; 2 Corinthians 3:17
The Body of Christ
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, both universal and local. It is composed of individuals who,
through faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christ Jesus is the
Head and Lord of the Church. The mission of the Church is worship, evangelism, discipleship and the
nurturing and care of one another.
Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 2:19-22, 5:23-25
We believe man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in
union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally
in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. We believe in the return of
Jesus Christ and that there will be bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment
for the wicked.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18-; Revelation 20:12-15
